Queens of the Stone Age will resurrect their Catacombs Tour for five performances spanning the West Coast, starting on April 24 in Joshua Tree, California. The tour will feature fresh arrangements of songs from the band's discography, with strings joining the usual instruments, and will continue the concept from their Alive in the Catacombs concert film and live EP.

Why it matters

The Catacombs Tour was well-received by critics and fans when it was first launched in 2025, and these spring dates will allow the band to bring their unique concert experience to intimate venues across the West Coast. This is also the first headlining stretch of the year for Queens of the Stone Age, before they team up with Foo Fighters for a stadium tour later in the summer.

The details

The tour launches at Joshua Tree Retreat Center, a homecoming for frontman Josh Homme who was raised in nearby Palm Desert. After the Joshua Tree show, the band will play Rancho Mirage, then head north to Portland and Seattle before closing on May 1 at Thunder Valley Casino Resort in Lincoln. During the Catacombs Tour performances, the rock group will rework songs from across their discography with fresh arrangements, including the addition of strings to the usual instrumentation. Libby Grace will open every show.
