Phillips Connect, a smart trailer technology company, has announced new enhancements across three key trailer system categories - roadside safety, brake performance, and liftgate operations. These updates strengthen how fleets can capture operational intelligence from critical trailer systems and distribute those insights across maintenance, operations, and safety teams.
Why it matters
As fleets look to improve safety, increase uptime, and operate more efficiently, having deeper visibility into the performance and health of key trailer systems is crucial. These enhancements from Phillips Connect, enabled through partnerships with leading equipment providers, give fleets more actionable data to make informed decisions.
The details
The new roadside safety solutions integrate with Emergency Safety Solutions' H.E.L.P. DeliverSAFE technology to improve visibility and awareness during roadside events. For brake systems, Phillips Connect can now access diagnostic data from Bendix TABS Advanced brake system ECUs to monitor brake wear, trouble codes, and other performance metrics. On the liftgate side, the company's partnership with Maxon provides fleets with deeper insight into liftgate activity, system health, and performance.
- The new enhancements were introduced at the Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition on March 15, 2026.
