Low- and moderate-income residents can access OC Free Tax Prep program to file taxes at no cost

Orange County United Way's United for Financial Security℠ Initiative is offering free tax preparation and electronic filing to low- and moderate-income individuals and families through the OC Free Tax Prep program. Qualifying residents can call 2-1-1 or (888) 600-4357 to book an in-person appointment with an IRS-certified Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) preparer, or file taxes online for free at MyFreeTaxes.com.

Taxpayers can file in-person at one of 36 locations or online through MyFreeTaxes.com.
