Texas Tech Men's Golf Sits 12th After First Round at The Prestige

The No. 15 Texas Tech men's golf team opened play on Monday at The Prestige with a 7-over 291 and sits 12th in a field packed with 24 teams at PGA WEST's Greg Norman Course. The Red Raiders were led by even-par 71s from Adam Bresnu and Connor Graham.

In addition to Bresnu and Graham's even-par rounds, Texas Tech also counted a 3-over 74 from an unnamed player and a 4-over 75 from another unnamed player. A third unnamed player shot a 6-over 77. Texas Tech enters Tuesday's second round seven shots behind a trio of teams tied for fourth at even par, and 16 shots behind first-round leader Oregon State, which shot a 9-under 275 to open the tournament.
