The Ole Miss softball team surged to a comfortable 10-1 victory over CSUN in six innings on the final day of the Easton Classic. The Rebels were powered by strong offensive performances from Persy Llamas and Cassie Reasner, who each hit a home run and drove in multiple runs. Despite an early run from CSUN, the Rebels responded by tying the game in the third inning on a wild pitch. Reasner then hit a solo home run to give Ole Miss the lead for good. In the fifth inning, Llamas blasted a three-run homer to extend the Rebels' advantage to 5-1. Ole Miss then put the game away with a five-run sixth inning, capped by a bases-clearing double from Reasner to end the game early via the run rule.
