Last year, Tran and his former partner Trevor Nguyen made it all the way to the Ojai doubles final before falling in a close match. Tran and Nguyen were also the 2024 CIF Individuals doubles champions. Other local doubles teams competing at Ojai include players from Corona del Mar, Edison, Newport Harbor, and Sage Hill. In singles, CdM's Ivan Pflueger, Edison's Kai Stolaruk, and Fountain Valley's Tri Le will represent the area.
