A 29-year-old man from Exeter was killed in a head-on collision on State Route 65 at the intersection of Lindmore Avenue in Porterville, Tulare County. The driver of the other vehicle, a 60-year-old man from Porterville, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital.

According to the CHP, the driver of a 2020 Ram 1500 pickup, a 60-year-old male from Porterville, was traveling north on State Route 65 and attempted to make a left turn into Lindmore Avenue, colliding head-on with a 1998 Ford Ranger pickup traveling south. The impact caused the Ford pickup to spin out and collide with a metal light pole on the passenger side. The driver of the Ford pickup, the 29-year-old man from Exeter, sustained major injuries and was pronounced dead at Sierra View Hospital.
