The East County Economic Development Council (ECEDC) has selected Matt Sanford as its new President and CEO, following a nationwide search. Sanford, who previously served as the Economic Development Director for the City of Carlsbad and held senior roles at the San Diego Regional Economic Development Corporation, will officially start in his new position on March 23.
