Get Cover, a provider of warranty and service contract solutions, has announced the launch of its mobile application, now available on the Apple App Store and Google Play. The app extends the company's existing Warranty Solutions Portal, which previously supported enterprise, education, government and reseller programs, to directly serve individual consumers for the first time. The mobile app allows users to purchase warranties, file and track claims, manage documentation, and centralize protection plan management across personal electronics, household appliances and school-issued devices.
Why it matters
The expansion into mobile reflects broader shifts in device ownership and protection management, as U.S. households now average more than 20 connected devices and global demand for device protection plans is projected to grow to over $150 billion by 2033. By offering a unified platform for both institutional partners and individual customers, Get Cover aims to simplify warranty management and improve transparency and user experience across industries.
The details
The Get Cover mobile app enables users to purchase warranties for a variety of products, file and track claims, organize warranty documentation, receive automated repair and replacement updates, and manage coverage across personal electronics, household appliances and school-issued devices. The app also expands Get Cover's education programs with a dedicated parent-facing enrollment portal for school-issued devices. Unlike traditional warranty administrators that rely on fragmented systems, Get Cover integrates dealers, resellers, service providers and end users within a single operational environment.
