Park at River Walk Parking Lot to Close for BPD Motor Skills Competition

The parking lot at the Park at River Walk in Bakersfield, California will be closed from Thursday, March 13 to Saturday, March 15 for the Bakersfield Police Department's 3rd Annual Motor Skills Competition. The competition will feature over 40 competitors from 29 law enforcement agencies across the region, with both Harley-Davidson and BMW motorcycles. Funds raised through entry fees and sponsorships will support ongoing training for BPD motor officers as well as local charities.
