A 2008 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren roadster with a twin-turbocharged V8 engine and numerous other upgrades is being auctioned on Bring a Trailer. The vehicle, which has 12,000 miles on the odometer, features a carbon-fiber body, butterfly doors, carbon-ceramic brakes, and a high-end Bose sound system. Originally delivered to California, the car has since been modified and imported to British Columbia, Canada.

The SLR McLaren was a limited-production, high-performance sports car developed through a partnership between Mercedes-Benz and McLaren. This particular example has been further enhanced with a twin-turbocharger system, making it an even more exclusive and powerful variant. The details

The 5.4-liter V8 engine originally featured a supercharger, but this has been replaced with a Weistec twin-turbocharger system. The car also has a high-flow exhaust and air filters. Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG Speedshift R five-speed automatic transmission. Other modifications include carbon-ceramic brakes, 19-inch alloy wheels, and a Bose sound system. The roadster is finished in Pure Black over a Silver leather interior.
