Gary Lewis, a former standout basketball player at Sahuaro High School and veteran teacher, coach, and administrator, has been named the new Director of Interscholastics for the Tucson Unified School District (TUSD). Lewis, who most recently served as the athletic director at Tanque Verde High School, brings nearly 35 years of experience to the district-wide position.
