The Arizona Department of Transportation has announced the launch of five new specialty license plates that drivers can purchase to support various charitable causes across the state. The new plates include options for No One Fights Alone, Teen Lifeline, 4AZKids, Arizona Youth Charities, and the Gila River Indian Community. ADOT also refreshed its existing Arizona Diamondbacks specialty plate and is offering it for motorcycles as well.

Why it matters

The new specialty plates provide Arizona drivers with more ways to visibly show their support for important community organizations and causes. The $17 from each plate sale will go directly to fund the charities' programs, which range from youth development and mental health services to traffic safety on tribal lands.

The details

The five new specialty plates join over 114 other options available to Arizona drivers. As of June 2025, ADOT reported that more than $14.5 million has been raised for state charities through specialty plate sales. The new plates will direct funds to specific organizations, such as Executive Council Charities for Arizona Youth Charities, Under the Shield, Inc. for No One Fights Alone, and Saguaros Children's Charities for 4AZKids.
