The Phoenix Suns have officially revealed their injury report ahead of Sunday night's matchup against the Charlotte Hornets. Dillon Brooks (hand), Mark Williams (foot), and Jordan Goodwin (calf) will all be ruled out for the game. Royce O'Neale, who was previously questionable due to right foot soreness, is now completely off the team's injury report.
Why it matters
The Suns are currently seventh in the Western Conference standings and will need to win games against tough opponents like the Hornets to climb up the standings and avoid the play-in tournament. Charlotte has been playing well lately, winning 16 of their last 20 games, so the Suns will be at a disadvantage without some of their key players.
The details
Brooks sustained a fractured hand and could return before the end of the month depending on his recovery. Williams is dealing with a stress reaction in his left foot and has a 2-3 week reevaluation timeline. Goodwin strained his left calf and hasn't played since Feb. 21, but is nearing the end of his two-week recovery timeline.
