The Center for Autism and Related Disorders (CARD®) is expanding its presence in Arizona by opening four new locations in Phoenix and hiring over 200 employees to meet the growing demand for high-quality autism treatment services. CARD® currently operates seven locations in Arizona and is accepting new patients statewide with no waitlist.

Why it matters

As the prevalence of autism spectrum disorder continues to rise nationwide, with 1 in 31 children diagnosed in Arizona, CARD's expansion aims to increase timely access to care and strengthen the local behavioral health workforce to better serve families affected by autism.

The details

CARD® will celebrate the opening of its newest Phoenix location with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and community open house on February 28. The organization was among the first to expand autism services in Arizona and helped advance the center-based model of care, which research has shown can help children develop skills more rapidly in structured programs.
