Pima sophomore Taylor Brown broke his second indoor school record on Saturday, topping the 200 meters with a time of 20.98 seconds at the Central Arizona College Invitational. Brown's time overtook the previous record of 21.59 seconds set in 2024 by Nasir Tucker. Brown also broke the 400-meter school record earlier this season.

In addition to Brown's 200-meter record, the Pima Aztecs had three new NJCAA national qualifying marks at the meet. The 4x400 relay team of Brown, Jashon Wright, Jake Applegate, and Noah Macias took second place with a time of 3:16.07, which ranks second in Pima history. Sophomore Malachi Keller also earned a national qualifier in the high jump with a mark of 1.99 meters (6-feet, 6.25-inches).
