The Pima women's basketball team has won 12 straight games and clinched the top seed for the upcoming NJCAA Region I, Division II tournament. The Aztecs (24-4, 16-2 ACCAC) defeated rival Mesa (19-7, 13-4) twice in the last two months, including a 74-60 victory on Wednesday night. Freshman starters Reigne Waugh, Lucy Fisher, and Kahlia Gonzales have been key contributors during Pima's surge, while All-American sophomore post player Kiley Sours-Miller posted her 12th double-double of the season.

Freshman guard Reigne Waugh had 19 points and 8 rebounds, while sophomore post player Kiley Sours-Miller recorded a double-double with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Sophomore guard Melicia Nelson also posted a double-double with 13 rebounds and 11 assists.
