Several former high school and community college basketball players from the Olympic Peninsula are making an impact at the next level, including Ese Onakpoma at Arizona Christian University, Lexie Mackey at Southern Nazarene University, Allie Greene at Haskell University, and Parker Nickerson at Skagit Valley College.

Ese Onakpoma, a former Peninsula College Pirate, is having another standout All-American season at Arizona Christian University, leading the Firestorm to a 22-7 record. Lexie Mackey, also a former Pirate, wrapped up her junior year at Southern Nazarene University, while Allie Greene, a former Neah Bay Red Devil and Peninsula Pirate, is helping Haskell University's Fighting Indians in the NAIA playoffs. Meanwhile, Parker Nickerson, a former Port Angeles Roughrider, has contributed to Skagit Valley College's deep playoff run in the NWAC tournament.
- Onakpoma's Firestorm will open the NAIA National Tournament on Friday, March 13th at 5:00 p.m. in Chandler, Arizona.
- Haskell University's Fighting Indians will play in the NAIA playoffs on Friday, March 13th at 5:30 p.m. in Indiana.
- Skagit Valley College's Cardinals will face Edmonds in the NWAC Final Four on Friday, March 13th at 2:00 p.m.
