A new statue honoring women veterans is planned for installation on the Veterans Plaza 2000 in Mountain Home, Arkansas. The proposed bronze statue will feature a female service member in a kneeling position holding a folded American flag and is being commissioned by the Military Service Sisters, a female-led veteran group formed in Mountain Home in 2017.
Why it matters
