She was born in Williamsburg, Indiana in 1933 and moved to Mountain Home in 1969 after working as an IBM librarian for Boeing in Wichita, Kansas. Rose was a founding member of the Harmony Freewill Baptist Church and enjoyed traveling, gardening, and watching the bluebirds.
