Arkansas State University Hosts Print Symposium and Exhibition

The Department of Art + Design is showcasing student and visiting artist work in printmaking.

Arkansas State University's Department of Art + Design is currently hosting the Mid-South Print Exhibition, which will culminate with the fifth annual Print Symposium on February 26th. The symposium will feature presentations and demonstrations from visiting artists Tate Foley, Sophie Isaak, Jessie Hornbook, Kaleena Stasiak, and Dustin Brinkman, as well as work from A-State printmaking students and those from the University of Central Arkansas, Lyon College, and the University of Mississippi.

Visiting artist Tate Foley will host a Risograph demonstration, exploring collage through mark-making and textural elements, while Sophie Isaak will present an interactive demonstration on monotypes. On the final day of the exhibition, students will have the opportunity to provide presentations of their portfolios and give artist talks from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Grand Hall of Fowler Center.
