Hackler Archery Team Places Sixth at State Tournament

The Hackler Elementary archery team finished sixth out of 30 teams at the Arkansas National Archery in the Schools Program (ANASP) State Bullseye Tournament in Hot Springs. The team, made up of fourth- and fifth-grade students, set a new program high score of 2,868, nearly 200 points higher than its previous best.

The ANASP program teaches Olympic-style archery to students across Arkansas, helping to grow interest and participation in the sport at the youth level. Hackler's strong performance at the state tournament demonstrates the success of the school's archery program and its ability to develop skilled young archers.
The details
A total of 22 Hackler students competed in the tournament, with 13 archers recording personal-best scores. The top 12 scorers for Hackler included Addy Young, Aaliyah Barnes, Charlie Menschik, Lilly Williams, Kristi-Anne Dye, Eli Foster, Grady McAninch, Isabel O'Grady, Mallorey Story, Alice Smith, Wyatt Davis and Greyson Rose. The team is coached by Cheyenne Hollenbach, Mike Andrews and Dustin Rose.
