Students from Mountain Home Public Schools in Arkansas recently showcased their mathematical prowess at the American Mathematics Competition (AMC 8) held at the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences, and the Arts in Hot Springs. 8th grader Noah Hopper took home the top prize, placing first among all represented districts and in the overall 8th-grade category.
