Alabama has added JUCO All-American wide receiver Tyler Henderson to its 2026 roster. Henderson, who played at Gulf Coast Community College in Mississippi last season, led the junior college ranks in receiving yards (1,299) and touchdowns (12). He had several offers but ultimately chose to join the Crimson Tide.

Why it matters

Alabama is looking to bolster its receiving corps for the 2026 season after missing out on a top transfer target. Henderson provides the team with additional depth and upside at the position, joining a group that includes several other promising young receivers.

The details

Henderson, listed at 6-foot-0 and 175 pounds, is known for his breakaway speed. He had a dominant season at the JUCO level, recording 67 catches for 1,299 yards and 12 touchdowns. The opportunity to play for Alabama was too good for Henderson to pass up, as he was mainly courted by Group of Five programs previously.
