Sister Act Musical Opens in Ozark

The curtain goes up tomorrow as Dale County and Ozark City Schools present Sister Act, a hit musical featuring music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Glenn Slater, and a book by Cheri Steinkellner and Bill Steinkellner. The production is directed by Megan Hobson, with Michelle Kelley serving as music director, and tells the story of a lounge singer who finds herself hiding in a convent, where she unexpectedly transforms the church choir and the lives around her through music.
