The 2026 high school softball season is underway, and the latest Rivals High School Softball Top 25 rankings have been released. Topping the list for the second straight week are the Orange Beach Makos of Alabama, who went 46-2 and won the AHSAA Class 4A state championship last year. The Makos bring back a talented roster, including standout sophomore pitcher MK McMullan and power hitters Teagan Revette and Ava Hodo. Rounding out the top 5 are Montverde Academy (Florida), Calvary Baptist Academy (Louisiana), Melissa Cardinals (Texas), and Barbers Hill Eagles (Texas).
