A UBS Wealth Management USA team producing $3 million in annual revenue has split from the Swiss-owned brokerage to join Wells Fargo Advisors in Huntsville, Alabama. The team, which managed $480 million in assets, is led by advisors Jason L. Schrimsher, David Andrew Mann and Miles Stumb, along with support staff LeeAnn Cassingham and Madison Riddle.
Why it matters
This move adds to a string of recent advisor departures from UBS, which has seen teams managing over $1 billion in assets leave for rival firms like Morgan Stanley. UBS executives have acknowledged an uptick in defections over the past year, though they expect the trend to subside in the second half of 2026.
The details
The team joined Wells Fargo on February 12 and will report to Steve Meadows, Wells' Southern Coast market leader based in Birmingham. Schrimsher first registered with a Morgan Stanley predecessor in 1999 and joined UBS in 2009, while Mann and Stumb started their careers at UBS in 2014 and 2021, respectively.
