The Huntsville Mardi Gras Parade will feature a drumline performance and kick off at 2:30 p.m. on Valentine's Day. The MidCity Mardi Gras Paw Parade in Huntsville on Sunday will showcase colorful floats and festive pups. In Cullman, the Mardi Gras Parade & Gumbo Cook-Off on February 14 will have teams competing for the best gumbo. A free Special Needs Community Valentine's Day Dance will be held on Thursday, and Harrison Brothers Hardware is hosting a scavenger hunt along the Huntsville parade route. Other events include Galentines at Toyota Field, a Presidents' Day camp at the Southeast YMCA, a Presidents' Day skate in Fayetteville, a classic film series, a Stroller Strides workout in Guntersville, and a Winnie the Pooh story time.
