Huntsville's Parks & Recreation department is hosting an African American Art Festival on February 21st to celebrate Black History Month. The free, all-ages event will feature works from local artists, interactive digital art experiences for kids, and artist interviews and discussions for attendees to learn the stories behind the creations.

The details
The African American Art Festival will take place from 10am to 6pm at the Dr. Robert Shurney Legacy Center in Huntsville. In addition to the art displays, the event will offer interactive digital art experiences for children as well as opportunities for attendees to participate in artist interviews and discussions.
