The Austin Peay State University (APSU) beach volleyball team dropped two matches on the opening day of UAB's March to May tournament, falling 5-0 to both UAB and North Alabama. Several APSU pairs pushed their matches to a third set, but were unable to pull out the wins.

Against UAB, the APSU pairs of Bailey Hope/Ashley Boswell, Alyson Cooper/Emma Loiars, and Emily Freel/Addi Hultquist all pushed their matches to a third set, but ultimately fell. The Govs then lost 5-0 to North Alabama, with Isabella Russell/Grace Austin, Alyson Cooper/Emma Loiars, and Emily Freel/Addi Hultquist again taking their matches to a decisive third set.
