Red Mountain Theatre is bringing the hit musical 'The Wiz' to Birmingham, running from February 6 to March 1. The production is a vibrant reimagining of The Wizard of Oz, rooted in R&B, gospel and soul, and told through the lens of Black culture, joy and community. The story follows Dorothy, a young woman searching for where she belongs, who is swept away to the dazzling land of Oz. Along with her new friends, she faces challenges that test their fears, friendships and self-belief, only to discover that what they've been searching for may have been inside them all along.
