Athens Mardi Gras Parade Collects Canned Goods for Local Charity

The Rocket City Starlets and Athens Arts League are hosting the annual Mardi Gras Parade in Athens, Alabama on February 17th. This year, the parade is encouraging residents to donate non-perishable canned goods that will be collected and donated directly to the local Community Table food bank to help feed those in need.

Residents can drop off canned and non-perishable food donations at Athens City Hall during regular business hours through February 16th. All donations collected during the parade on February 17th will go directly to the Community Table food bank.
