The Southeast Alaska Cities Against Drugs (SEACAD) task force seized approximately $162,500 worth of controlled substances, including methamphetamine, fentanyl, ketamine, and MDMA, from a 50-year-old Juneau resident during an operation in the Nugget Mall parking lot. Investigators also found over $100,000 in cash and multiple recreational vehicles believed to be associated with the investigation.

During the operation, investigators approached Jermiah Pond in his car in the Nugget Mall parking lot and found about 7.3 grams of a substance that tested positive for methamphetamine and 1.21 grams of a substance that tested positive for fentanyl. A search of Pond's residence uncovered an additional 46.63 grams of ketamine, 293.56 grams of fentanyl, 25.84 grams of methamphetamine, and 25.5 grams of MDMA, totaling just under a pound of drugs. Authorities also seized $102,640 in cash and multiple recreational vehicles.
