Sitka Workshop Teaches Healthy Spring Roll Making

Dietetics student to lead session on fresh spring rolls and sauces

The University of Alaska Fairbanks Cooperative Extension Service office in Sitka is hosting a workshop led by dietetics student Paula Veshti that will teach participants how to make fresh spring rolls, healthy dipping sauces, and a fruity dessert.

The details

Veshti will guide workshop attendees through the process of making spring rolls from scratch, including how to prepare the fillings using a variety of fresh produce. She will also demonstrate how to make healthier versions of traditional dipping sauces to accompany the spring rolls, as well as a fruity dessert.
