This holiday season, join Clara on a magical journey as she battles the Rat Queen, visits the Land of Snow, and meets the Sugar Plum Fairy in the Kingdom of Sweets. Children and adults of all ages will be swept away by the fantastic tale that reminds us of the magic of the Christmas season.
Why We Like It
- Featuring 260 community dancers and actors, along with guest principal artists Yenessis Marzan Hernandez and Luis Victor Santana as the Sugar Plum Fairy and her Cavalier.
- A portion of the proceeds will benefit MCPA's outreach dance classes at the Birmingham Boys and Girls Club.
- This original version of the ballet is brought to you by Artistic Director Stephanie Rangel and the MCPA artistic staff, featuring original choreography of the Waltz of the Snowflakes by Roger VanFleteren.
